No, the AIO tweak "touch while driving" does not work at official Mazda Android Auto (AA). There is no way to enable touch at all for official Mazda AA. But for official Apple CarPlay (CP) touch while driving can be enabled via AIO touch tweak. Touch while car stands still works from factory for official CP, but not for official AA.
The issue is though, I can't seem to get the installation going. I same right version (v59) that allowed the tweak to install in the first place (and I double check if the version was updated and nope it's still V59). I get the USB that went through compilation, plug it in to the USB port, and turn on the Mazda3 (just the power, not the engine).

Your car becomes a hotspot and your phone has to connect it's WiFi to that. AFAIK, Bluetooth is only used for setup. Have not experienced such issues with my pixel 6. Mazda 3 2022, not sure how to check infotainment version, android 12 and I'm using Samsung note10+. I would say start with restarting the phone and making sure your cable is good. Not shut down, full restart and then clear the app data and cache if the android auto app. So it seems there was something definitely wrong inside the CMU parameters that blocked my phone uid and did Android Auto to not start. Conclusions: it was NOT my ROM, Android version, google services version nor anything related to the phone, given that it had worked in other cars. Only doing factory reset made AA start working.
The phone I tried the Android Auto with is Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3. I can try it out and look for settings in few hours. I also remember Mi Mix 3 not really working in my car (but I didn‘t have enough time to check the settings and find out why).
To force stop the Spotify app, tap Clear cache/data and then Force stop. To clear the app cache solely, tap Clear cache/data there or go to Spotify > Settings and scroll to Clear cache and tap on it. Step 2. Restart Android Device. After that, restart the Android device.
